Introducing weekly yoga classes for vet students in Neston! The perfect way to de-stress after a long day, our classes aim to promote mental and physical health, and create a strong community and support system for our clinical years. Classes will be on Thursday evenings 7:30-8:30pm in Neston town hall with our lovely teacher Sarah.
Hi everyone! I’m Anna, and I’m so glad to be setting up a yoga community for vets. I found yoga a few years ago, and it has helped me to navigate difficult situations in my life. I use my yoga practice every day to feel centred and realign with what is important to me, as well as improving my strength and mobility. A good yoga class never fails to make me feel better after a tough day, and I think that it can be beneficial for everybody. Hi everyone, I’m Ria and I’m super excited to be your secretary next year! I think this yoga club will be a great way to bring everyone together and keep the positive vibes going through the struggles that vet school can bring. My signature move is boat and by manifesting this in our daily lives, we will stay afloat. Hopefully we’ll be organising lots of retreats so watch this space and looking forward to seeing you all at the sessions 🙂
Hi everyone, I'm Hannah and I'm very excited to be Treasurer of the Neston Vet Yoga Society 😍 yoga is a great way to take a moment to relax and connect with your body. For me yoga is a reminder to connect with the world around us and to stop and smell the roses (sometimes literally!!) Not only is it a great form of exercise it is also proven to improve mental health - something I think we are all in need of (nevermind Covid, the vet course in general takes a toll!).
